Quality Control Technician
As a Quality Assurance Technician for Keurig Dr Pepper, you will be responsible for supporting Operations from a Quality perspective. You will work with Operations to identify, analyze and resolve quality problems. You will ensure that product meets specifications and that customer expectations are consistently being produced. You will be reporting regularly on quality issues, as well as supporting QA roles in problem identification and prevention. In this position you will promote and support Keurig Dr Peppers continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the Keurig Dr Pepper Coffee Operations in all aspects of Quality and the Company Purpose and Principles.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on hybrid shift working our 12 hour shift schedule working on a 3-4 rotation. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required. Week 1: Thursday - Sunday, from 10:00am-10:00pmWeek 2: Friday -Sunday, from from 10:00am-10:00pmWhat you will do:
Participate in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives to reduce process variation and prevent process and product nonconformitiesWork with the QA personnel to review proposed product specification changes, or new product offerings prior to implementation, to help assess the impact on product/process quality requirements and help to implement appropriate changes as neededDocument data and facts in clear and easy to understand formats in order to work issues most effectivelyTake initiative and responsibility for needed actions to support quality and business goalsEnsure the rigorous application of standards and the compliance to specifications from a quality standpointHelp to define, develop, and maintain quality information recordsAssist in communications to internal customers from a quality standpoint, and for facilitation of processing of nonconforming materialUse basic quality principles, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives; train others as you develop expertiseConduct a quality test/inspection plan (as appropriate for area(s) assigned) for periodic reporting and comparison to field dataParticipate in internal process and product auditsParticipate and prepare sensory test tasting eventsInterface with internal and external quality partnersBecome knowledgeable in PeopleSoft/SAP transactions for the flow of work orders and material through WIP processes including Product and Qualification hold proceduresBe involve with QA testing in one or more product or process areas, including all SKU’s or items produced within those processesRepresent the customer perspectivehelp to answer all anticipated customer questions during the problem resolution processUse quality tools (and others) to troubleshoot, identify, and analyze problems to the true root cause level, and work with the appropriate teams to implement solutions and ensure the identified root cause problems are resolvedTotal Rewards:
Pay starting at $26.56per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $27.89 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

1 year of Quality Assurance experience & HAACP background preferred2 years experience in a production environment required OR related college degree Coffee sensory process experience desiredManufacturing experience in the food industry desiredStatistics and analytical experience desiredSkilled in Microsoft office products; especially ExcelEffective problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)
