Job Responsibilities:
Conduct material and component testing at all stages of manufacturing.
Prepare, conduct, and report on the applicable testing conducted.
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections as directed by the Quality Manager.
Perform capability studies as required.
Prepare and evaluate dimensional reports, analyze them, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Audit & evaluate assembly check fixtures to ensure they are adjusted and functioning correctly and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Control all Quality Records and Documentation required by the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
Develop gauging instructions and methods.
Preform gauge R & R’s as required.
Train employees in check/assembly fixture usage as required.
Audit employees and processes which impact the quality of the product and/or the quality of the systems.
Assist with sample submissions for customer PPAP deliverables.
Maintain gauge records.
Perform all functions in a legal, ethical, and professional manner.
