Take a tour ofChart Cityto get a feel of how Chart equipment solutions impact our daily lives. **_What Will You Do?_** + Records relevant quality data + Provides basic analysis of data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards + May recommend modifications to existing, or suggests new standards, methods and procedures + Performs work under direct supervision + Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff + Possesses beginning to basic knowledge of subject matter + Utilizes basic tools (such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc) in daily tasks + Other duties, as assigned Performs basic QC Tasks: + Product, process, and Quality Management System audits + Processes reject material from production (Scrap Bins) in MasterControl + Inspects products to insure conformance to established quality standards + Initiates nonconformance reports + Initiates revisions for Quality Management System documentation + Conducts sample receiving inspections on purchased parts + Gather gas samples in support of product gas analysis OR performs Mechanical Testing + Prepares samples for mechanical testing + Performs tensile strength and impact testing + Conducts base metal and bend tests + Assists welder qualifications by conducting above mentioned tests as required **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and sit. Frequently uses hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
