What you'll do...
Manage Vehicle Operation and Warranty concerns Develop and mentor plant personnel on the QOS and coach and train them on the appropriate use of standard Quality Tools Deliver the plant Policy Deployment Process for Quality Manage the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly Quality cadence, for the plant Daily Quality Reviews Drive the implementation of corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 3L x 5Y, 8D tool, 6 panel, etc. Resolve quality issues using 6-sigma tools Lead VO Customer Communications and Concerns Manage stability of the base QOS Identify sources of variation within the production environment effectively and efficiently Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements Oversee engine testing, teardown, hot run and contamination investigations Provide feedback on concerns to appropriate departments identified by dealers and customers related to quality Pass through management for Warranty and Ford Plant Concerns Review internal/external suppliers for process compatibility Review quality concerns; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions Coordinate real time quality concern feedback to production departments Provide Incoming Quality (IQ) support to contain suspect component concerns until certified stock arrives Ensure dock holds are implemented to contain quality concerns Provide updates on suppliers to Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), and plant management Manage the reimbursement of plant expenses due to supplier quality concerns Lead Quality in all New Model Launch activities
