**DESCRIPTION**
Support Operating Systems across the business ensuring requirements are implemented including business management systems standards - ISO 9001, TS16949 and AIAG Core Tools. Identify breakdowns in processes that may result in missed objectives, provide expertise on standards, and communicate between business unit and corporate leadership. Monitor key business processes including management review and internal audits. Assess product line development procedures including engineering processes, corrective and preventative action, and implement continuous improvement. Maintain the Business Management System Quality Manual which includes the scope of the business and management system and all documents and procedures for technical processes. Utilize quality system development, implementation and verification skills to understand business and customer needs, goal setting, planning processes, and the use of results and customer satisfaction data. Utilize Five Core Tools including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to implement approaches including understanding of engine manufacturing tools and process type. Follow Six Sigma to communicate management plans and practices. Use specialized engineering knowledge of industry practices and standards to ensure project safety and success. Utilize Lean tools including Pareto charts, Histogram, Control Chart, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure programs provide sustainable measurable improvements and create regular reports on improvement project progress, barriers, and issues. Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards to take implement corrective action system including: Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), Material Nonconforming Reports (MNC) and leading containment activity. Manage the project schedule to drive completion within the agreed timeline. Utilize Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) to systematically integrate statistical tools into the Product Proceeding Technology process in order to achieve predictive design quality, reduce variation and meet Voice of the Customer requirements.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial or Supply Chain Engineer, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial or Supply Chain Engineer, or related position. Experience to include: Quality standards - ISO 9001, TS16949; Quality System Management; Five Core Tools including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC); Lean tools including Pareto charts, Histogram, Control Chart, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T); Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), Material Nonconforming Reports (MNC); Schedule Management; Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC); Voice of the Customer requirements.
