Specific Responsibility:  

Support or lead all relevant quality activities associated with manufacturing and inspection processes, procedures, and inspection requirements. Participate in internal audits as well as support and participate in third party and customer audits as required.  Follow up on post-audit activities, including reports and corrective actions.Support Lean and Six Sigma improvement activities by participating on teams, collecting and analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring quality and process related documentation is updatedCreate, maintain, and use electronic data systems (SAP, QDS, etc) to ensure accurate dataInterpret customer and GTC drawings, specifications, and identify necessary key characteristics for inspection.Support or lead tracking of in-process product issues and performance metrics as required for trend analysis and driving continuous improvement. Support the calibration process. Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. Support the corrective action process on internal and external opportunities.Support programming and qualification of advanced metrology measurement equipment.

Required Minimum Qualifications: 

Education: HS Diploma required, Associates degree or above preferred.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of inspection procedures, techniques, specifications & drawings within a manufacturing environment. Good communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally required. Understanding of LSS tools & manufacturing fundamentals a plus. ISO/AS Quality Management System experience preferred. GD&T, CMI and/or ASQ experience a plus. May require CMM programming and/or NDT capabilities. Knowledge and use of standard measuring devices.
