TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.
We are looking for our next Quality Engineer due to expansion. The job objective is to ensure compliance with product quality specifications, customer requirements,APQP and process needs during the product and process design phase according to New-Product-Development lifecycle until the formal product and process release (incl PPAP) is achieved.
YOUR MAIN TASKS:
+ Taking responsibility for typical APQP deliverables between starting of project until the SOP (PPAP)
+ Part of a New Product Development project core team evaluating customer requirements together
+ Attending feasibility studies in Design Reviews within the concept - , development- and industrialize phase.
+ Advanced Quality Engineering (AQE) is the main interface contact related all Quality topics between customer and Tyco during New Product Development Lifecycle.
+ Moderating, guiding the Engineering team in completion of FMEA by using Software “APIS”, DFMEA and PFMEA according to VDA/AIAG standards.
+ Support and advice Manufacturing Engineering with statistical data evaluation (Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Process Capabilities Cmk/Cpk)
+ Quality engineers are creating prototype and pre-launch control plans incl safe launch activities within the Project Team during New Product Development Lifecycle.
YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:
+ Understanding of APQP and/or PPAP
+ Prior experience with FMEA methodology
+ Knowledge of ISO and/or IATF
+ Basic understanding of VDA
+ Fluency in Hungarian and English skills both verbal and written
+ Willingness to travel within EMEA on a few occasions
