The Quality Regulatory Programs System Manager is responsible for managing and facilitating various department activities with a strong focus on enterprise oversight of regulatory quality and reporting requirements for CMS, Joint Commission and other value-based and hospital and provider programs. The System Manager supports hospital and medical staff in performance improvement activities required to support Promoting Interoperability, Core Measures and MIPS. Collaborates with ITS and clinical intelligence teams to assure systems support electronic regulatory submissions are configured and data is validated. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Provides coordination and direction for Hospital (CMS) and Eligible Clinician (MIPS/Medicaid) Promoting Interoperability including data submission, maintenance of the book of evidence and audit response; Oversees hospital Core Measure submissions (abstracted and electronic clinical quality measures) for CMS and the Joint Commission. Aggregates and assists with the analysis of internal and external data, including publicly reported data · Coordinator for HHC MIPS program including validation of EHR reporting tools and data submission for all HHC TINS and employed providers · Manages contracts for third party abstractors · Monitor updates and changes to Inpatient and Provider Quality Reporting programs to facilitate timely adoption · Collaborates with regional quality and safety directors for compliance with and reporting for regulatory program quality measures · Supports individual department’s efforts and initiatives (System, Regional, and/or Hospital specific) to improve systems and process within the organization · Develops performance plan and standard work for all direct reports • Leads through example, utilizing leadership behaviors • Monitors result; provides coaching, counseling and direction as necessary. Reviews and evaluates staff regularly • Provides training consistent with current and future job requirements. Function as a mentor/preceptor for staff members. Fosters an environment conducive to on-going learning and education *_Education:_* · Registered Nurse preferred other clinical healthcare professionals considered · Bachelors of Science Degree required *_Experience:_* · Minimum of five years of clinical experience · Quality Improvement experience · Experience with electronic health records and eCQMs *Licensure, Certification, Registration:* · RN with CT License or relevant healthcare professional license as applicable *Skills:* · Experience with EHR system configuration to support electronic measure submissions · Knowledge of Epic reporting tools as well as Tableau and other visual analytics tools We take great care of careers.
