Quality Production Inspector I

If you are a Quality Production Inspector looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity located in Boulder, CO. This is an entry level position working in a manufacturing environment. You will gain experiences by working closely with the Quality team. This position is located at our Emerson/Rosemount Facility.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Prepare Quality Assurance documentation and document packages for production orders Perform and release inspection dimensional/visual characteristics of material, parts and assemblies under guidance of a Quality Technician. Record inspection results for company and customer reviews; compile data on PC. Electronic and paper files will be created Manage electronic data Scanning of MTRs into an electronic data base Other clerical duties as required

For This Role, You Will Need:

Ability to read engineering-controlled prints Good organizational skills Basic PC skills and computer experience Basic knowledge of hand tools (calipers, thread gauges, ring gauges, etc.) Good written and verbal communication skills Communicates effectively Desire to learn and develop within the Quality Assurance field Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds (some heavy lifting required)


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Mechanical inspection experience a plus

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly pay range for this role is $24.06 - $27.30 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
