Quality Ops Specialist

**Job Overview:**
The Quality Ops Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Operations and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Operations problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Quality Ops Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Assure that subcontractors conform to all job specifications and approved procedure
+ Write, review, and revise the job-specific procedures
+ Analyze statistical data to determine the cause(s) of non-conformance in products or systems
+ Assist inspectors in the resolution of quality problems and non-conformances
+ Assist with root cause analysis
+ Observe work process to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures
+ Conduct studies aimed at improving processes and reducing waste
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study preferred
+ 6+ years of relevant experience
+ Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
