Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to support our Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) team within 787 Quality in North Charleston, South Carolina.

You will manage a group of employees engaged in partnering with various manufacturing disciplines, ensuring efficient operations and high quality production. If you are passionate about fostering a collaborative work environment and driving continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

Position Responsibilities:

Leads and manages a high performing team of quality professionals

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

Provides education, leadership, and coaching on the Quality System

Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports

Manages, develops, and motivates others

Possesses & influences a mindset of safety, quality & excellence

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience inspecting aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans

3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal role

3+ years of experience leading process improvement activities

Experience working and partnering with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

High School diploma or GED

3+ years of experience with workload management

Experience working directly with internal and external suppliers

Prior military related experience

A&P license

Shift:

This position is 1st shift. Requires working a weekend rotation, currently expected to be one (1) weekend per month based on business needs.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $115,200 - $140,800
