Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer who will focus on process improvement and product ownership within the first six months. This role is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality and efficiency of our custom products.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain Bills of Materials for custom products.Maintain custom product pricing history records.Implement assembly process improvements and automation.Update and maintain work instructions.Conduct document audits and reviews.Maintain and troubleshoot production tooling and equipment.Collaborate with Applications and Design Engineers for design/product changes.Bring new custom product concepts to production.Provide post-sales Linecard Product Support.Support assemblers in Production.Perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) tasks.Visit customers to troubleshoot or perform root cause analysis.Ensure EH&S Compliance.Track issues and complaints.Enter supplier non-conformance records.Conduct root-cause analysis.Communicate with customers regarding complaint/RMA status.Assist with preventative and corrective actions.Support adherence to QMS (ISO 9001).Essential Skills4+ years of experience in process improvement and product management.Proficiency in process engineering, product management, and process improvement.Strong troubleshooting skills.Experience with motion control systems.9/10 proficiency using Excel.7/10 proficiency with programming (steppers, servo, controls).2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality roles.Client-facing skills with a proactive attitude.Experience with ISO 9001 and root cause analysis.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral experience in multiple areas is advantageous.Experience in the electronics industry is preferred.Work Environment
The work environment includes two office locations situated across the street from each other. It involves both a manufacturing/assembly floor and an office setting, allowing for a dynamic work experience. The role offers opportunities to wear multiple hats, take product ownership, and be part of a tight-knit team, with potential for bonuses and promotions based on tenure.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
