The Quality Manager (m/f) is responsible for quality compliance and quality performances for our aluminium gas valve casting production facility in Emmen. We seek a leader and a mentor who will coach, develop and support our team, ensuring quality processes are adhered to, and key quality metrics achieved. **JOB DUTIES:** + Ensure that products manufactured at site meets the agreed level of quality and compliance to specification and applicable Standards + Lead the local quality team, supporting them in the various quality processes and developing their skills and knowledge + Minimize the number of escapes to receiving Resideo sites (internal customers) and to external customers. (Customer PPM) + Eliminate severe quality incidents which can affect deliveries + Reduce the amount of internal scrap and the cost of poor quality through elimination of factors of injection and increase of detection levels + Guide the problem solving exercise in case of quality issues (internal or external) leveraging the most common techniques, such as PDCA and Six Sigma. + Evaluate possible risks related to design or manufacturing process to prevent escapes (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan) + Assess proposed changes (design, supplier, processes) to identify risks and mitigation actions + Develop and maintain a local Quality Management System which can simplify the sustenance of ISO Certifications + Plan and Execute a solid mechanism of internal auditing, acting in alignment with local leadership to implement corrective actions + Maintain a high standard measurement lab, granting regular checks to parts produced and analysis of returns + Report out of findings/issues to functional leaders and higher management as needed **YOU MUST HAVE:** + Knowledge of ISO:9001 Standard and Requirements + Experience coaching and developing Quality Engineers, Technicians and Inspectors + Knowledge of quality tools and processes such as DFMEA, PFMEA and PPAP + Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels + Knowledge in Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control + Experience working in a mechanical or industrial manufacturing environment + Fluent in English **WE VALUE:** + Background in Casting and Machining Processes for metallic parts + Autonomous, structured, rigorous and self-motivated + Solution oriented, pragmatic, ability to simplify complexity + Able to manage priorities in a fast and dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on maintaining high quality standards + Team player, prepared to work in team-based culture + Fluent in Dutch **WHATS IN IT FOR YOU:** + 27 vacation days & 13 ADV days + 13 th Month Allowance + Vacation Allowance + Company Pension \#LI-AM3 \#LI-ONSITE Resideo is a $6.76 billion global manufacturer, developer, and distributor of technology-driven sensing and control solutions that help homeowners and businesses stay connected and in control of their comfort, security, energy use, and smart living.
