Our client, a leading fastener manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. As a Quality Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. 

Job Title: Quality Manager | Direct Hire role 

Location: Fraser, MI

Pay Range: $90,000 - 100,000

What's the Job?

Own and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance, including internal and external audits. Oversee in-process, first-piece, and final inspections using appropriate gauges; manage statistical process control and data analysis. Lead investigations into quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions to resolution. Serve as the primary contact for customer quality requirements and audits; collaborate with suppliers to assure material quality. Guide and mentor quality/inspection staff; deliver training on quality standards, QMS, SPC, and 5S principles.

What's Needed?

5+ years in quality roles within manufacturing, including a minimum of 3 years in fastener or screw production. Proficiency in statistical quality tools (SPC, control charts, FMEA, root cause analysis). Experience with fastener-specific processes such as cold-heading, threading, heat-treatment, plating, and gauge calibration. Strong communication and report-writing skills; ability to lead customer interactions and deliver C-level presentations. Certifications like ASQ CQM, CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor greatly preferred.
