Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Manager with proven expertise in rotating equipment and heavy industrial machinery. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can ensure product integrity, drive root cause analysis, and implement strong corrective actions. The successful candidate will modernize quality processes, improve reporting systems, and lead a team to uphold ISO 9001 standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of 5 inspectors (including Level 3 UT/MT and Level 2) and 1 Quality Coordinator.
• Oversee all quality assurance and control activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct and oversee NDT methods (UT, MT) and ensure adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Improve quality processes, digitize reports, and streamline workflows for efficiency.
• Collaborate with production to ensure quality targets are met on schedule.
• Partner with leadership to rebuild and maintain a strong reputation for product quality.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment, preferably in rotating equipment or heavy industrial machinery.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
• Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality process improvement.
• Ability to work with and improve digital reporting and software tools.
• Hands-on and confident leadership style with excellent communication skills.
