The Quality Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of quality operations to ensure continuous improvement which includes direction of the quality staff and quality assurance lab. Job Responsibilities + Manages customer quality system requirements and compliance activities. + Manages customer quality audit and surveys and ensures the outgoing product quality level is continuously improving. + Provides quality technical support to process and manufacturing activities, including SAP transactional management (scrapping, blocking, and converting) of products. + Provides employee and operator training on key quality concepts. + Ensures that the quality assurance lab has technical capability to support products and raw materials used to make finished goods. + Assists in quality activities related to finished goods production, line trials to meet customer requirements. + Ensure quality data and manufacturing data are maintained in AIMS + Visits customers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction and drive improvements. + Manages implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the Continuous Improvement (WAM) Quality and Process Control Pillar. + Drives implementation and adherence to all aspects of the Product Conformity Initiatives as part of the Q&PC pillar. + Maintains and manages activities for quality certifications, i.e. ISO 9001:2015 ISO, Customer Quality Audits, including customer complaints, document control, internal auditing, management review, control of non-conforming product, and corrective actions. + Manages the Qualtrax Document Management System and provide technical support to the staff organization. + Designs quality metrics and reports and remain abreast of gauging, inspection and statistical technology. + Manage the process of providing samples of products to support the sales teams, customers, and all other internal and external sample requests. Job Qualifications and Requirements + Bachelors Degree in a Engineer or Technical Discipline. + 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or laboratory environment required. + 5+ years of operational and managerial experience + Experience with ISO management systems and auditing for laboratories + Ability to excel in a cross-cultural, global team environment. + Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills. + Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills. + Can work independently and multi-task in faced paced environment. + Knowledge of ASTM Standards + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite + Understanding of polymer chemistries, curing behavior of polymers and rubber processing. + Solid understanding of statistical process control and world class manufacturing techniques. + Knowledge of rubber processing: mixing, curing, extrusion and foaming. + Proven ability to lead effective teams and manage others. + Proven experience in creating technical solutions. + Proven experience in project management and risk management. Posting Dates July 30, 2025 - August 14, 2025. The expected compensation range for this role is $100,000.00 -$140,000.00. The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
