Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Description

The Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of products manufactured at the facility. This position involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems that comply with regulatory, customer, and GFSI standards.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safety and quality of products manufactured at the facility.Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems that are regulatory, customer, and GFSI compliant.Review, revise, implement, and monitor Food Safety Plans, HACCP, SSOP, and GMP.Serve as SQF practitioner; oversee SQF program implementation and certification audits to successful outcomes.Oversee sanitation and pest control, managing vendor relationships and corrective actions.Understand manufacturing operations to identify critical processes and controls.Track, report, and review food safety and quality KPIs.Lead quality improvement initiatives.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.Manage consumer complaints and resolve quality issues.Collaborate on product/process changes to ensure safety and quality.Promote continuous improvement in FSQA through program updates, technology adoption, process enhancements, and departmental efficiencies.Lead food safety and quality training and foster a strong food safety culture.Lead and develop the site FSQA team.Govern and manage the Master Sanitation program, ensuring adherence and effectiveness.Essential SkillsQuality assurance expertise.Proficiency in GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations.Experience in batch record review and document control.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.3+ years of experience within food safety and quality.2+ years of leadership experience.Schedule

The position operates on a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
