Job Description
The Quality Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards before they reach customers.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and SOPs.Supervise lab testing of finished products including alcolizer, pH, CO2, nitrogen, and carbonation.Assist in obtaining SQF and GMP certifications.Maintain documentation and traceability for all quality-related activities.Manage and train QA Technicians.Collaborate closely with the production team.Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.Ensure co-packed products meet client specifications and expectations.Source lab equipment and work with vendors.Understand the blending process.Implement Sensory panel testing for products.Essential SkillsQuality assuranceFood safetyFood qualityAuditSQFAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field3+ years in QA/QC roles in the beverage or food industryWork Environment
The main facility is a brewery featuring a 2,200 sq ft warehouse with one production line and six 9,000-gallon tanks for blending. There is also a 4,400 sq ft packaging warehouse. The company is growing rapidly and is involved in packing products for established brands.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.46/hr.
