Job Description
A global automotive supplier seeks a Quality Manager to lead and develop a team of quality professionals at one of its high-impact EV seating manufacturing sites in either Champaign, IL or Mesa, AZ. This is a critical leadership role with direct visibility to site leadership and OEM customers.
ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of up to 10 quality professionals, including team leads, specialists, and assistant managers.Oversee quality documentation, audits, and compliance with customer and industry standards.Collaborate cross-functionally with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.Serve as the primary quality contact for OEM customers.Report directly to the site CEO.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in a quality leadership role within automotive manufacturing.Proficiency in GD&T, color measurement systems, and quality documentation.Must pass a color vision assessment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.Experience in seating systems and/or EV manufacturing strongly preferred.Experience with seating manufacturing and Tier 1 Automotive experience is a plus.Work Environment
The role is 100% onsite, first shift, from Monday to Friday in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $126000.00/yr.
