Quality Manager
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aQuality Managerto join a leading Company located in theMarkesan, WIsurrounding area. The Quality Manager is pivotal in ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards, are com pliant with AS9100, and exceed customer expectations. The Quality Manager will lead the quality team, monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, and ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards. Responsibilities : + Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians, providing daily supervision, coaching, and support. + Set clear performance expectations for the quality team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and quality goals. + Conduct performance evaluations, identify opportunities for professional development, and implement necessary training programs for team members. + Ensure that the quality team adheres to established processes, procedures, and safety protocols, maintaining the highest standards of quality in all operations. + Foster an environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and problem-solving among team members. + Quality Management System (QMS): Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's AS9100-certified Quality Management System. + Auditing & Compliance: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and other relevant aerospace industry regulations. Lead external certification audits and coordinate responses to non-conformances. + Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the quality team, including quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. + Root Cause Analysis: Oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for identifying and resolving product quality issues. Lead root cause analysis and ensure effective implementation of corrective measures. + Supplier Quality Management: Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, ensuring all purchased components meet aerospace specifications. + Customer Quality Assurance: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product quality issues, providing timely and professional response s. Manage customer complaints and non-conformances , ensuring thorough resolution. + Process Improvement: Develop and lead initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing processes, reducing defects, and optimizing production efficiency. + Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data and provide management with insights regarding product quality, trends, and areas for improvement. Generate and present quality performance reports to senior leadership. + Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to employees across the organization. + Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage projects, and drive a culture of continuous improvement + Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis. + Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including cost management, profitability, and how quality impacts overall company performance. Ability to balance quality goals with business objectives and contribute to the financial success of the company. + Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present quality-related information to senior management and external stakeholders. + All other duties as assigned. Basic Hiring Criteria : + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ) is a plus. + Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in aerospace and knowledge of aerospace certifications and standards such as AS9100, AS9102, NADCAP, or ISO 9001 or similar regulated industries is preferred .
