Quality Manager
**Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing** **Overview:** Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a **Quality Manager** to lead their quality assurance team and uphold the highest standards in product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This key leadership role is responsible for maintaining AS9100 compliance, overseeing internal and external audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** **Leadership & Team Management** + Supervise and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Technicians. + Set clear expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and implement team development plans. + Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **Quality Systems & Compliance** + Own and maintain the AS9100-certified Quality Management System (QMS). + Lead internal/external audits and certification activities; manage corrective actions and responses to non-conformances. + Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations including AS9100, AS9102, NADCAP, and/or ISO 9001. **Customer & Supplier Quality** + Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues; manage complaints and non-conformances to resolution. + Monitor supplier quality performance; work closely with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with aerospace specifications. **Root Cause Analysis & CAPA** + Oversee root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). + Ensure systemic issues are identified and permanently resolved. **Process Improvement & Reporting** + Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce defects. + Utilize tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and Control Plans to monitor and improve quality performance. + Analyze quality metrics and generate detailed reports for senior leadership. **Training & Communication** + Develop and deliver training on quality standards, tools, and best practices across the organization. + Communicate quality trends, risks, and initiatives effectively with stakeholders at all levels. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. + Quality certifications (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma, Lean) strongly preferred. + **Experience:** + 5+ years in a quality leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment. + Aerospace industry experience preferred, with working knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, AS9102, and/or ISO 9001. + **Skills & Competencies:** + Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, Root Cause, Control Plans). + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex quality programs. + Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Business-savvy with an understanding of how quality impacts operational performance and profitability.??????? **Compensation:** $115,000–$130,000 base + 7% annual bonus | Full Benefits | 401(k) with match **Pay Details:** $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
