Description
Quality Manager to lead quality-focused initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This critical role centers on overseeing and enhancing quality assurance processes to meet both internal standards and customer expectations. The Quality Manager will work across departments to implement continuous improvement strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency throughout production operations. Reporting directly to leadership, this position requires someone with strong problem-solving, process optimization, and collaborative skills. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Enforce adherence to specifications, technical drawings, and organizational policies to uphold quality standards.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align timelines and deliver on project objectives, including process improvement and new development initiatives.
+ Lead efforts to optimize production processes, using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
+ Manage resources, including labor and equipment, to maintain project timelines and budgets effectively.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, certifications, and regulations (e.g., ISO).
+ Identify quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate them while maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
+ Advocate for a customer-first mindset by gathering and utilizing client feedback for the refinement of products and services.
+ Employ root cause analysis and problem-solving to resolve engineering challenges and guide team collaborations to achieve innovative solutions.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management or supply chain roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with IQMS or similar quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarize data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and resources effectively.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to drive collaboration and innovation across teams.
