Quality Manager
The Quality Manager is a pivotal leadership role, actively supervising a team comprising both hourly and salaried employees within the quality department. This role is essential in the administration and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in a manufacturing setting. As a manager, this position entails a balance of on-the-floor manufacturing quality engineering support and the oversight of the manufacturing quality engineering team as well as collaboration with customer quality engineering to drive adherence to customer flow down requirements. Reporting directly to the Director of Quality, the Quality Manager works in close partnership to refine and elevate the QMS at PacSci EMC. This position requires significant strategic engagement, developing new processes and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency across various sectors of the organization. + Develop and advocate for critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various quality functions, providing training on effective metric usage and ensuring their consistent application; actively drive improvements across all quality KPIs. + Initiate and be the driving force for strategic enhancements in quality processes. + In collaboration with the Quality Director, set forth a strategic process improvement plan and lead teams and projects to ensure on-schedule completion and sustainable integration within the company. + Oversee all direct reports, providing mentorship, setting priorities, fostering professional growth, and establishing clear objectives. Implement process improvements to advance quality and efficiency within respective departments. + Engage directly and support Manufacturing Quality Engineers with Failure Review Boards (FRB), Problem Solving Process (PSP), and requisite projects, stepping in with assistance when needed. + Pioneer initiatives focused on defect reduction, improved performance of corrective actions, and the maintenance of process control and compliance. + Act as a facilitator and provide support during Quality Audits as necessary. + Embrace and execute additional responsibilities as they arise. **Qualifications:** + A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality-focused role + Experience in leadership roles is highly regarded. + Proficient knowledge of First Article Inspection reports, compliant with AS standards. + Proficient knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. + Solid experience in corrective actions and problem-solving methodologies. + This role requires U.S. citizenship in adherence to ITAR, DFARS, and federal compliance standards. **Education and Experience:** + BS Degree in related field or comparable work experience. \#LI-JW2 **Ralliant Corporation Overview** Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
