Who will you be working with?
You will be working with site MD and his management team, Site Quality, Supply chain, operation team and RTPE Quality team and Operation team.
How will you make a difference?
As a Quality Manager, you play a crucial role in maintaining, defining, and optimizing our Electromechanical Relay production quality, with a keen eye for cost savings, efficient productivity, continual improvement, sustainability, and safety.
Every day you will work on production quality/environments/health/safety improvements, optimization of quality including supplier quality, process quality and customer quality, supporting international colleagues with quality challenges and explaining to an operator how to understand and implement the quality control plan. You will lead a Quality department, responsible for designing and implementing department strategy toward fulfill both company & departments goals. You will support the purchasing department and suppliers on quality management, deviation analysis and improvement actions, and conduct regular supplier quality audit.
You will identify and suggest manufacturing process improvements on quality aspects and lead the analysis and make improvement plan toward meet and exceed production KPIs.
You will lead the customer quality cases include analysis, draft quality reports, make further improvements actions plan, and onsite inspections in terms of specific demand.
What do we want to know about you?
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or Operations or Mechanical or Electromechanical or other relevant subjects.At least 8 year's experience in quality management in relevant setting for example Relays, Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Switches6 sigma and quality system qualified with validated certificationsLean and process improvement qualificationWorking internationally, transferring manufacturing process, New Product Introduction etc.What will your typical day look like?
Leading the team of Quality, planning the workload, managing performance, coaching, and mentoring.Maintain the manufacturing quality control plan of existing products, optimizing yield, and minimizing cost.QHSE leadership and coordination of Manufacturing Transfer Projects, “pulling” manufacturing from international sites to Mors Smitt China and supporting their introduction and ramp-up phases.QHSE leadership and coordination of New Product Introduction Projects, advising the Design & Development team about Design for QHSE aspects and then supporting their introduction and ramp-up phases.Providing Quality input to Sourcing Projects that optimize the supply chain of critical components.Providing Quality input to Product failure investigations, identifying manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.Creating and maintaining QHSE data.Collecting and analyzing Quality data to control the manufacturing process, identify issues and drive improvements.Suppliers quality managementCustomer quality managementProduction quality improvementsWho are we?
