We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in providing and developing leadership and direction for the Quality/Risk Program to ensure that it complements the strategic direction, daily operational processes, budget, business direction, and contract deliverable. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Ensure that the performance of the QMS is reviewed, updated and planned at intervals to ensure it continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. This will include assessing opportunities and the need for changes to the QMS.Ensure that Quality objectives are set by the executive management of the QMS and that these are reviewed regularly.Maintain an annual audit schedule - have a sound knowledge of the ISO audit process and expectation of evidence required to support activities.Ensure that a document control procedure is implemented and maintained to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the QMS.Manage the development and review of quality procedures. Develop training packages in relation to QMS and quality policy and procedures as required.
What You’ll Bring
Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship is a requirement)Tertiary qualifications in quality, risk management or related field.Extensive experience working within ISO quality framework, and a clear understanding of ISO9001.Understanding of quality and risk management and emerging issues including keeping informed of new developments in best practice quality processes.Experience with the facilitation of ISO9001 audits.
