Quality Manager
Job Title: Quality Manager Job Description We are seeking a Senior Manager of Quality to lead the development and execution of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities + Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors, driving quality initiatives across the entire product lifecycle—from design and development to manufacturing and service. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, production, and compliance to embed quality into every process and product. + Review quality metrics and lead morning stand-ups with your team to align on priorities. + Meet with engineering and manufacturing teams to address quality issues in new product introductions. + Conduct supplier quality reviews or audits to ensure compliance and performance. + Analyze defect trends and lead root cause analysis sessions using Six Sigma or FMEA tools. + Coach team members on quality best practices and continuous improvement strategies. + Prepare reports for leadership on quality KPIs and cost of quality performance. + Collaborate with IT to ensure enterprise systems support QMS requirements. Essential Skills + Deep quality expertise in complex products, especially with those involving hardware, electrical, or electromechanical systems. + 10+ years in quality management, and 5+ years of leading technical teams within manufacturing. + Strong command of quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and CAPA. + Skilled in hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing quality teams. + Ability to design and implement scalable quality systems and metrics. + Proficiency in statistical tools such as Minitab, JMP, Power BI and standards like ISO 9001, IPC-610/620. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field. + Experience in risk assessment methodologies such as FMEA, NUDD, HARA. + Extensive experience and training in quality approaches including Six Sigma, TQM, Lean. + Quality certifications are a nice bonus.
