Quality Manager **Location:** Theodore, AL, United States, 36582 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_** **The Quality Assurance Manager plans, coordinates, and directs the quality program designed to ensure conformance to requirements, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement for products manufactured at a Chart facility. This position will oversee the regulation process for products requiring approval including filing necessary applications and handling all outside agency interactions. This individual will be responsible for coordinating regulatory and customer inspections of the organization and facilities, including developing the procedures and systems to ensure regulatory compliance sustainability.** **_What Will You Do?_** + Maintainthe Quality Management System. + Plan, promote, coordinateand oversees compliance to the ISO standards for the facility. + Conduct andcoordinateinternal audits and trainingto ensure the plant maintains its compliance to ISO standards. + Plan, promote, and organizetraining activities related to product quality, Code compliance, and reliability. + Train appropriate employees on Code compliance fundamentals for the various Codes (DOT, ASME, etc.) + Overseecode compliance for all product designs. + Managequality team members and ensureoversight of materials, facilities, processes, and products. + Promote the effectiveness and timeliness of the corrective action system and lead efforts in problem solving activities + Formulate and maintain quality assurance objectives for site and coordinate objectives and initiatives with production to avoid production delays **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** + Frequent sitting, standing and walking. + Occasional stooping, bending and twisting. + Office work is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment with possible exposure to temperature extremes, overhead cranes, material with rough edges and odors associated with cutting and welding. **_Your Experience Should Be..._** + Bachelor's degree; industry recognized accreditation through ASQ or other industry organizations + Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 and Section IX, DOT, and PED/TPED, a plus. + Working knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 system practices. + Pressure vessel code experience (DOT, ASME, etc.),preferred + Outstanding communication skills at all levels (written and verbal) + Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including in a project management environment. + Strong analytical skills including exposure to systems and familiarity with SPC. + Demonstrated ability to both plan and manage multiple tasks and projects. + Proven ability to provide high level of customer service. **_Our Benefits Package..._** Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicants because of his or her race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law.
