Job Summary
The QMS Engineer role leads internal audits for all subscribed Management Systems (e.g., ISO, RBA, Product Safety), including audit planning, execution, and analysis. It drives corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensures compliance with standards and legal requirements, and supports customer audits from preparation to closure. The position also reviews system procedures for alignment with organizational requirements and facilitates training for internal auditors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Internal Audits across all subscribed Management Systems (e.g., ISO, RBA, Product Safety), including: Develop audit programs/plans and checklists aligned with standards and legal requirements. Analyze audit results to identify system strengths and weaknesses, and drive standardized corrective actions. Coordinate and support customer audits/visits, including, guiding customers during audits and assisting with evidence provision and reviewing RCCA responses for adequacy and monitoring the closure of findings. Manage CAPA processes, ensuring thorough analysis of nonconformities and implementation of effective, systemic solutions. Review system and operational procedures to ensure compliance with standards, legal, and internal requirements. Facilitate training for Internal Auditors on relevant Management System Standards and other applicable requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science With at least 2 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within the electronics or manufacturing industry. Experience in internal auditing and solid understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Familiarity with ISO 19011:2018, ISO 13485:2016, IECEx, CCCEx, RBA, and ESD Control Requirements is a strong advantage.
