Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Lab Technicians to join our team in performing essential quality seed testing at one of the largest cotton seed sites globally. As a Quality Lab Technician, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure top-quality seeds are provided to cotton farmers across the United States and Mexico.

ResponsibilitiesPerform visual quality inspection on seed samples.Conduct basic laboratory tests including pH, protein assays, moisture testing, and titrations.Execute warm and cool germination testing.Carry out purity analysis of seeds.Perform seed counts accurately.Organize and conduct sampling procedures for products.Essential SkillsProficiency in quality control and quality assurance practices.Experience with visual inspections and quality inspections.Knowledge in wet chemistry and QC processes.Familiarity with farm work and agriculture.Understanding of biology, chemistry, production, protein analysis, and germination.Ability to conduct pH testing and work within manufacturing quality standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Natural Science, Plant Science, or Crop Science preferred.Must possess a Passport or Birth Certificate for onboarding.Work Environment

The work environment includes standard operating hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. During harvest season, from November through January, two shifts are available: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 3:30 am, from Sunday to Saturday. From February to May, weekend work may be required. Candidates must be open to working any day of the week and able to work either the first or second shift, with potential for up to 50 hours per week during peak seasons.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
