As a Quality Inspector, you'll be a key player in maintaining and continuously improving our quality control processes. Responsibilities:
Provide the production floor with quality documentation, measuring tools, and inspection equipment.

Perform routine inspections of raw materials and finished steel parts.

Use precision instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to perform detailed measurements.

Maintain and support the ISO 9001 quality management system.

Communicate with production staff to ensure understanding of quality procedures and measurement techniques.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues during production.

Support other departments as needed when production slows.

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Experience working in a metal fabrication or steel manufacturing environment

Familiarity with ISO 9001 audits and documentation practices

Proficiency with other precision tools such as height gauges, dial indicators

Prior use of quality management software (QMS) or digital inspection systems

Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel or data entry for quality reports

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

Ability to train or mentor others in quality inspection techniques

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Proficient in using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers

Understanding of quality control processes and inspection procedures

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in measurements and documentation

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to follow established procedures and recognize deviations

Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, conversions)

Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
