The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Inspector who brings enthusiasm, acute attention to detail, strong communication skills and flexibility to the table. In this role, you will perform tests to mechanical/electrical assemblies and measure dimensional characteristics per Raymond engineering and other documents while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:
Inspect and test subassemblies and final products—both high-volume and complex, low-volume builds—per engineering specs and procedures. Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, multimeters) to ensure product quality. Document inspection results and quality data in electronic systems (SAP, WMS, Excel). Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions. Communicate quality issues to production teams and assist with resolution. Conduct audits to verify process effectiveness and compliance (ISO 9001/14001). Support inventory control and database analysis within WMS. Operate lift trucks or overhead cranes to move materials and perform stock checks. Assist and guide Inspector I team members as needed. Maintain calibrated test equipment and a clean, organized work area. Participate in internal audits and quality improvement teams. Perform other related quality tasks as assigned.What We’re Looking For:
Excellent communication skills are required. Inspectors are expected to communicate with warehouse associates, supervisors, and customers on quality related topics. Fundamental computer literacy is expected.What Sets You Apart:

This is an in-person role located at our East Syracuse, Raybuilt location—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. This role is Monday through Friday, and you will work 6AM to 2:30PMWhat Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $20.50 - $24.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
