Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector Metals to join their team. As a Quality Inspector Metals, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector Metals

Location: Carson, CA

Pay Range: $20.54 per hour + $1.00 Shift differential. 

Shift: 2nd - 2pm-10:30pm

What's the Job?

Reads and interprets blueprints and/or shop drawings Use tools like calipers and micrometers to check that parts meet specifications Identifying defects/deviations from specifications and initiate non-conformance reports, and follow issue through to completion Inspects incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests Complete and maintain QA/QC documentation and records while adhering to quality control procedures.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent required. Proficient use of measuring tools and have a working knowledge of precision measuring tools such as: (tape measurer, calipers, micrometers, etc.). Familiarity with various forms of sheet metal, welding, cutting, milling, or related processes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while balancing multiple projects. PC skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
