JSG is hiring a Quality Inspector/Coordinator for a 3+ month opportunity in Simi Valley, CA.

Pay rate: $25-$28 DOE

Provide administrative support to the Quality Department with contract review and approval into ERP system.  Coordinate and manage Document and Data Control records along with all Outside Source Controlled Inspections. Document FAI reports onto AS9102 forms. Perform LCS and DSQR inspections as required.  Works under direct supervision and follows procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Computer operation (MS Word and Excel). Ability to input, retrieve and compile data/records. Develop master AS9102 FAI inspection records and track FAI completion- electronic media Compile data and report monthly subcontractor performance (electronic spreadsheets) Compile product certification packages for delivery to customer with product shipment. Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate and work with others in a courteous and professional manner. Must be organized and practice good housekeeping on a daily basis. Must be flexible and cooperative with a continuous change of work load Perform additional tasks to support the Quality Assurance Department. 2 – 3 years experience in Quality Assurance/Control or relevant experience Ability to promote and foster a Continuous Improvement culture both internally and externally. Effective communicator – strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively apply appropriate problem-solving and continuous improvement techniques. Internal quality audits – participate in both Internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits and customer audits (product and system).     General understanding of FAA requirements
