Purpose of Role: You'll be at the forefront of ensuring top-notch quality by conducting all scheduled QC inspections in the shop. You'll also prepare essential QC reports to support our Quality Engineer. Additionally, you'll take charge of in-house inspections, calibrations, and testing of instruments at planned intervals, ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately

You'll collaborate closely with Shop Foremen and Managers to execute essential inspection and QC checks on workshop job orders. You'll also prepare crucial stage inspection reports, ensuring every project meets our high standards of excellence.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for the discrepant items at each stage of inspection and follow up with Quality Assurance Dept for their close out.Assumes responsibility for the final inspection and release of workshop job orders after ensuring all QC activities are completed as per the Documentation & Final Inspection check sheet.Conduct and manage regular calibration of inspection, measurement, and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Facilitating 8D investigationsSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Polish is essential! This skill will enable you to effectively communicate and collaborate within our diverse team, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality outcomes.Experience with Non-Conformance Reporting.Ideally, you will have gained QC experience in a similar production line or industry, such as manufacturing, pumps, automotive, or aerospace. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.We are Weir!
