Quality Inspector
Description Typical Day: Pre-op, releasing the line making sure things are clean and sanitized In-line checks, gathering samples, and incoming packaging inspection. Will document 50:50 between manual and computer (IPad) Statistically sample and evaluate incoming shipments of packaging components including but not limited to bottles, caps, closures, labels, cartons, and shippers. Accurately compare samples to standards, measure dimensions and perform functional tests against procedures. Record data and determine compliance. Communicate results and complete identification of shipment disposition as required. Review and evaluate packaging operations and in-process and finished products against requirements and specifications following required frequency and sampling plans. Review and release lines and equipment for production use. Maintain a safe and organized work area, ensure instruments are maintained, checked for accuracy, and calibrated as prescribed. Monitor compliance to cGMPs and advise Quality management of observations of non-compliance. Recognize and react to evidence of procedure deviations. Participate in reviewing and assessing rework processes and use of conditionally released materials. Ensure all records of such activities are maintained.
