Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, processes, and final products. You will perform inspections at various stages including dimensional and visual inspections, part inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections of fabrication processes. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and quality of incoming raw materials and other purchased materials, as well as ensuring steel fabrications meet approved shop drawings. **Responsibilities** + Perform dimensional and visual inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, processes, and final products. + Conduct part inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection of fabrication processes and finished products. + Inspect incoming raw materials and other purchased materials. + Document and identify materials by heat number. + Check steel fabrications for dimensional accuracy according to approved shop drawings. + Visually inspect welds. + Document and report all non-conformities found during in-process or final inspection. + Communicate with management and shop floor employees in a professional manner. + Suggest remediation of ongoing quality issues and instruct welders to improve deficiencies. + Ensure welders are certified to applicable standards. **Essential Skills** + Inspection + Quality control + Quality assurance + Quality inspection + Blueprint reading + Visual inspection + Final inspection + Weld inspection + Steel inspection + Production + Quality check + Welding inspection **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of QC experience on welds + Experience in the steel industry is a huge plus **Why Work Here?** Joining our team provides you with opportunities for growth and leadership as the 2nd shift expands. Dress code is non-corporate casual, ensuring comfort while maintaining professionalism. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
