We have an outstanding Contract position for aQuality Inspectorto join a leading Company located in the Fort Walton Beach, FLsurrounding area. **US Citizenship is required.** Job Responsibilities: + Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies . + Use various measuring devices and testing equipment. + Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems. + Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings o r inspection instructions and checklists. + May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures. Basic Hiring Criteria: + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field. + Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience using Microscope, Eye Loup, and other means of Magnification. + Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings or inspection instructions, and other technical documentation. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues. Desired Qualifications: + Associate's degree in a technical field, such as engineering, quality engineering, or a related field, preferred. + Minimum 5 years Electronic Assembly Preferred. + IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred. + IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification plus Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
