Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in a medical device manufacturing setting. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through careful inspection and documentation, adhering to industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret specifications and blueprints to understand dimensional, physical, functional, and visual requirements.
+ Inspect products for various quality issues and document findings per ISO and FDA requirements within the ERP system.
+ Perform part inspection and measure dimensions of incoming, in-process, first piece, and finished workpieces.
+ Utilize various precision measuring instruments, including optical comparators, CMM or vision machines, along with templates and fixtures.
+ Assist with CAPA, NCR, and non-conformance processes by collecting data and entering it into spreadsheets and databases.
+ Support the disposition of nonconforming products through RMA procedures for both internal and customer returns.
Essential Skills
+ 3 years of quality inspection experience.
+ Experience working with ISO standards.
+ Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with CAPA and NCR processes.
+ Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards.
Work Environment
You will be working within a medical device manufacturing and office setting. Training will be provided on your designated shift. Available shifts are 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 1:00 am M-F Mandatory OT, time and a half over 40 hrs).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
