Job Title: Quality Inspector | $20-22/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Floor Inspector to join our team, working the 2nd shift from 3pm-11pm. This is a direct hire position, providing an opportunity to ensure the quality of incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts through thorough inspection on the plant floor.

ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts by walking the floor.Visually inspect castings and document findings in a log.Follow quality instructions and utilize provided gauges.Reject castings that do not meet quality standards and log the part of the inspection process.Utilize blueprints during the inspection process.Lift up to 50 lbs and walk the entire plant floor throughout the shift.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience.Experience with diecast, troubleshooting, mechanical processes, and machine operation.Proficient in using gauges, blueprints, micrometre, CMM, and conducting visual inspections.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust possess strong math skills.Open to working in a foundry environment.ISO certifications are a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a very dirty foundry setting, which can be hot during summer months and cold in non-foundry areas. Employees should be prepared for physical work conditions and adhere to appropriate dress code for safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
