Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

JSG is hiring a Quality Inspector - 1st Shift for our client in Twinsburg, OH.
Job Duties: Minimum of 5 years of Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment demonstrating increasing accountability. Working knowledge of aviation industry compliance standards preferred, including ISO9001and AS9100 standard. Experience with gage calibration and verification activities. Experienced in reading part blueprints and application of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with Microsoft Office 2000 or greater. Use standard measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, dial indicators, comparators, and vision systems to verify products and improve problem-solving and implementation of improvements. Performs inspection operations in each of the following areas: Final Inspection Incoming Inspection First & Last Piece Inspection First Article Inspection Responsible for creation of nonconformance documentation (NCRs) when discrepancies are detected at any inspection stage. Maintain and support SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost). Ensure that quality requirements are followed. Act as a liaison between production associates and quality requirements. Maintaining inspection data during daily inspections and responsible for ensuring all paperwork is in its proper place at the end of the shift. Strong communication skills with the Quality team and Production Associates. Assist with calibration and verification of gages. Ability to help the manufacturing area in troubleshooting and resolving gage issues.
