Job Description: Quality Inspector
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
Identify and report non-conformities and deviations from product quality standards.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste, and input data into quality databases.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA) for quality issues.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality problems and improve processes.
Ensure compliance with company quality policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and customer requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and properly calibrate and store inspection tools.
Support internal and external audits by providing inspection records and quality documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Willingness to work on scheduled Saturdays or weekends as required by production demands.
