Job Summary:

Onin Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspection Technician for a client in Albuquerque, NM. This role is responsible for performing inspections and audits of incoming materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. The technician will also support in-process manufacturing, help resolve quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and non-routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements to verify product conformance.Maintain lab cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.Identify and document defects; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.Support production teams in resolving quality-related issues.Review customer specifications and ensure product compliance.Collaborate with operations to plan work and meet quality targets.Monitor and verify documentation accuracy on production travelers.Place non-conforming materials on hold and notify appropriate personnel.Reinforce company safety policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.Must be eligible to access ITAR/EAR-controlled information (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or meet contract-specific requirements).Physical & Work Environment Requirements:Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.Key Competencies:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Adaptability to changing processes and technologies.Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments.Proactive in identifying and addressing quality issues.
