Quality Inspection Supervisor

The Quality Inspection Supervisor is tasked with building and developing an robust and efficient quality inspection system for incoming goods and components, while supervising and supporting a team of quality technicians and inspectors.

The goal is to ensure that all incoming materials and products meet the required quality standards before entering production. This includes examining, testing, documenting materials, collaborating with suppliers, and managing quality issues. 

You will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, preventing defects from entering the manufacturing process, minimising administration tasks and improving efficiencies within inspection. In addition, you will use analytical methods to resolve any issues that arise and perform data analysis to support quality and process improvements.

 

JOB DUTIES:

Inspection and Testing – Examine incoming materials and products using various tools and techniques to ensure they meet quality standards Quality Documentation – Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and deviations to ensure traceability and compliance Root Cause Analysis – Identify the causes of quality issues related to incoming materials and implement corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with relevant teams Quality Management System Implementation – Develop and implement quality procedures, standards, and inspection plans for incoming materials Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve the quality of incoming materials and implement them in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams Material Handling – Manage non-conforming materials: quarantine, rework, or disposal Collaboration – Liaise with the supplier quality assurance team to resolve quality issues, improve supplier performance, and ensure consistent quality  

YOU MUST HAVE:

Mechanical engineering background Previous quality incoming goods inspection experience  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances Fluent Hungarian Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Familiarity with SAP and statistical data analysis Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and APQP is an advantage Strong collaboration and analytical skills Attention to detail Experience with regulatory compliance Familiarity with Six Sigma tools Comprehensive understanding of quality processes
