Description
As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, your role is all about helping Kern Family Health Care improve the quality of care for its members. Here’s what a typical day might include:
+ Data & Reporting: You’ll collect and review healthcare data, help prepare reports, and make sure everything aligns with quality standards and regulations.
+ Organizing Information: You’ll manage databases and folders related to quality programs (like MCAS), keeping everything up to date and organized.
+ Provider & Member Outreach: You’ll contact healthcare providers to share educational materials and updates. You might also reach out to members to provide health-related information.
+ Training Support: You’ll help create training guides and organize webinars for staff and providers to understand quality measures.
+ Project Coordination: You’ll support quality improvement projects, such as tracking medical record requests, organizing incentive programs, and following up on missing data.
+ Team Collaboration: You’ll work closely with analysts, nurses, and other departments to make sure quality goals are met.
+ Meeting Support: You’ll help schedule meetings, send agendas, and take notes to keep everyone aligned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma from an accredited school or equivalent
+ 4 years’ experience in health care quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Experience with HEDIS preferred.
+ Typing speed of 30wpm
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
