Job Title: Quality Excellence Manager
Location: Monaco or Rotterdam
As a Quality Excellence Manager, you will provide quality assurance support in supplier and yard qualifications, lead internal and external audits, and offer critical input during project tenders and proposals. You will independently manage complex quality investigations and play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives. A strong focus will be placed on ensuring compliance with GEMS and promoting a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Compliance
Review and validate quality assurance documentation for supplier and yard qualifications, ensuring compliance with standards.
Integrate quality assurance requirements into project tenders and proposals, reviewing related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Manage and oversee independent quality investigations outside project scope, ensuring thorough analysis and resolution.
Audit & Performance Monitoring
Plan and manage internal, certification, and qualification audits across GRS.
Coordinate with auditors and auditees, manage audit documentation, and track the implementation of corrective actions.
Monitor audit statuses and findings to ensure timely closure.
Report key findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental and organizational performance.
Define and track KPIs for quality excellence to measure progress and efficiency.
Support GEMS compliance and lead activities to enhance adherence to internal quality standards.
Training & Culture Building
Promote a strong culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across departments.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve quality issues.
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs related to quality systems, tools, and processes.
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related quality discipline.
Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent standard).
Experience
10–15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including 7+ years in senior or managerial roles.
Proven background in Project Management, Engineering, and construction processes (fabrication, special processes).
Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO), quality methodologies, and best practices.
Strong expertise in quality investigation tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Non-Conformance Management, FMEA, and CAPA.
In-depth knowledge of welding, coating, NDT, preservation, and explosive atmospheres (Ex); relevant certifications are a plus.
