The Quality Engineering Technician is a key role that helps ensure our parts are compliant and meet customer requirements, as well as improve our process to reduce defects.
Job Duties
Support quality systems including:
Assessment of part conformance to customer drawing/spec requirements and MRB (dimensional acceptance) Support operators in inspection techniques on the shop floor. Help maintain and improve documentation including operating procedures and work instructions Review of inspection data to determine process capability, quality concerns, and corrective actions.Support engineering activities as needed including:
Organize and track movement of engineering and FAI lots through the manufacturing process Help develop and complete process and inspection related improvement projects Assist in reviewing fixture calibration dataEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
