Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineering & Programme Manager to support the E7 Quality Management team in Birmingham, UK.

This Quality Management position is a key member of the leadership team, and we are seeking a detail oriented, highly organized change agent to lead a team in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical strategies to bolster compliance, repeatability, and sustainability within the Quality Organization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:  

Manages employees at a Part-145 repair station performing modification to military commercial derivative aircraftDevelops quality strategies and plans in support of aircraft modificationProvides education and coaching on the Quality System and part-145Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reportsOversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility. Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher3+ years of experience with Quality and/or Manufacturing processes and organizations3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. Customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)Leadership experience with technical employeesProficient utilizing the Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using schematics, blueprints, sketches, manuals, technical documents, written information, verbal information, applicable procedures, codes and ordinances2+ years working in an aircraft maintenance or part-145 environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Demonstrated experience in quality leadershipExperience in a developmental programExperience on a production program
