You will be the Quality Engineer Stf (Level 4) for the F-35 Quality & Mission Success organization, which is responsible for achieving quality excellence in production departments.

As the Quality Engineer Stf (Level 4), you will lead a team of quality engineers to support production departments in achieving quality excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing guidance and oversight of quality processes in the F-35 production systemOffering technical expertise in quality sciences, root cause analysis, and continuous improvementCollaborating with peer quality teams and manufacturing build areas to eliminate quality defectsDeveloping junior engineers through teaching quality engineering techniquesDriving a culture of continuous improvement across internal quality processesWhat’s In It For You

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering discipline, or combined education/experience.
• Team lead or management experience
• Experience in quality control, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, and/or Production Operations
• Experience in corrective action and preventative action
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree in a business or engineering discipline
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Continuous improvement certification (Six Sigma Green Belt, Shainin Red X, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledgeable of LM Aero Corrective Action processes and systems
• Technical knowledge of F-35 and its manufacturing processes
• Graduate of a Lockheed Martin development program (i.e. QTLD, OLDP, ELDP)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
