Description:You will be the Senior Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team at the Red River Army Depot in Hooks, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems to ensure exceptional performance and reliability.

As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality engineering efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality excellence. You will play a critical role in shaping our quality systems and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Developing and implementing quality evaluation and control systems
- Collaborating with teams to identify and mitigate quality risks
- Analyzing data to inform quality improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s level degree or higher in STEM and / or equivalent experience / combined education.
Prior Mechanical or Electrical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
Hands on experience dealing with inspection of hardware and rework / repair of hardware.
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
Demonstrated presentation skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s level degree or higher in STEM preferred
Experience with use of manufacturing, inspection gages or measuring equipment.
AS9100 interpretation, application experience, and compliance auditing.
Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
Experience working with Government customers and suppliers in a sustainment environment.
Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.
ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
