Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer II to enhance our corrective and preventive action processes. The role involves strategic quality planning, measurement activities, and acting as a lead quality representative for customer accounts. You will manage data collection plans, support manufacturing operations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesContinuously review and improve the corrective action process, including problem identification, failure analysis, root cause analysis, problem correction, recurrent control, and verification of effectiveness.Participate in Quality Strategic Planning (QSP), Cost of Quality, and other measurement activities to provide stronger tools for analyzing quality performance.Improve preventive action tools such as error-proofing and robust design, analyzing their effectiveness.Lead quality engineering efforts for customer accounts by addressing inquiries and complaints, leading audits, and supporting business reviews.Manage data collection plans, considering methods such as check sheets and automated data collection.Participate in ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory activities as directed by Quality Management.Support manufacturing operations through quality trending, data analysis, and oversight of containment initiatives.Facilitate data flow and identification on continuous improvement boards.Support kaizen and other continuous improvement activities.Contribute collaboratively to team efforts.Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety standards and procedures.Essential SkillsProficiency in quality engineering and root cause analysis.Experience with AS9100, PPAP, PFMEA, and Six Sigma methodologies.Strong background in quality assurance, audit, and supplier quality.Manufacturing quality and machining expertise.Certified Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant quality and manufacturing experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.4+ years of experience in quality engineering.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr.
